From tuesday August 10th, the motorists passing the very attended crossroad between the Boulevard Botanique and the Rue Royale in Brussels will not fail to notice the poster of “Plan”, ex-“Foster Parents Plan”.

Indeed, a gigantic streamer of 15 meters out of 15 will be suspended on the frontage of the head office of the bank Cortal Consors. The objective? To give a serious blow of inch to Plan, a humane organization of development aid centered on the child. The poster will decorate the frontage until the end of September.

Cortal Consors deals with all the expenses of the production and posting. By this gesture, the bank wants to underline its social engagement and encourage people to save not only for their profit but also for a better future of the most stripped children.

Present in Belgium since 1984, Plan counts today more than 36 000 sponsors who help projects of structural development for some 370.000 children of the four corners of planet. The most famous Belgian sponsors are undoubtedly Koen Wauters and Valerie De Boosere, named “Ambassadors Plan” last year.

Cortal Consors, a company of BNP Paribas, is the European leader of on line saving and brokerage for private individuals and offers to more than one million customers a complete range of investment products and services through various channels of distribution. In Belgium the bank counts today more than 32.000 customers, this is exactly the number of children who die each day of malnutrition or disease in the world. A situation that Cortal Consors intends to help to solve through this action.
